Simple terms for a calculation tool.

Acceptance

By downloading or using Numae, you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the app.

License

Numae is licensed to you, not sold. You may use it for personal, non-commercial purposes on the devices your Apple Account allows. You may not copy, modify, distribute, sell, or reverse engineer any part of the app.

What Numae Is

Numae calculates number profiles, chart positions, timing periods, and moon cycles from the birth details you enter. It is a calculation and reference tool. The figures it produces are provided for personal interest, and they are not advice: nothing in the app is a substitute for professional guidance on medical, psychological, legal, financial, or any other consequential matter. Do not make a decision of that kind on the basis of what the app displays.

Accuracy

We aim for correct arithmetic and correct astronomical positions, and the calculations are covered by tests against known values. Even so, we make no warranty that every result is free of error, that a result matches any particular tradition or school of interpretation, or that the app is suitable for any specific purpose. Different traditions reckon these figures differently, and the app’s choices are documented in the app rather than implied to be the only ones.

The People You Save

You are responsible for the birth details you enter, including anyone else’s. Enter another person’s details only if you are entitled to. As described in our Privacy Policy, that information stays on your device and in your own iCloud, so keeping it safe and backed up is in your hands rather than ours. We cannot recover it for you.

Analytics And Crash Reporting

By using Numae you agree that the app and our website may collect the anonymous usage and crash information described in our Privacy Policy. That information is not tied to your identity, never includes the details of the people you save, is used only to improve the app, and is never sold or used for advertising. If you do not want it collected, please do not use the app.

Support Requests

If you contact us through the support form, you agree that we may store and use your email address and message for the sole purpose of replying to you. Do not send us passwords, payment details, or other sensitive information through the form.

Purchases

Numae is purchased once through the App Store. There is no subscription and no in-app purchase. Refunds are handled by Apple under the App Store’s terms, not by us.

Service Availability

The chart, timing, and moon-cycle features depend on a calculation service we run, and that service may be updated, rate limited, suspended, or discontinued at any time without notice. We are not liable for any interruption in service.

Intellectual Property

Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, we are not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the app, including any decision made in reliance on a figure it displays.

Governing Law

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of California, United States, without regard to conflict of law principles.
